An accountant by training, he spent over 30 years in finance, broking and investment banking before coming to Myanmar in 2001. In 2005, Serge Pun & Associates Group took a major decision to plant Jatropha curcas and committed substantial resources into research and large scale plantation of 100,000 acres.
He will share with you the challenges and experiences of the last 3 years covering the practical aspects of this biofuel feedstock, including trading & collection of seeds, farm management as well as processing of the seeds into Crude Jatropha Oil (“CJO”).
