Mr. Chong Whye Keet

Mr Chong Whye Keet leads the Natural Resources team within the New Businesses Group in the Singapore Economic Development Board. The Group was established in 2007 to identify and nurture new growth areas which will create new economic opportunities for Singapore. The Natural Resources team’s mission is to develop Singapore into an Asian nerve centre for agriculture, aquaculture, plantations, forestry, minerals and metals businesses that fulfills global market demand for natural resources and creates technologies to ensure global resource sustainability. Within EDB, Whye Keet has also served in portfolios like consumer electronics and telecommunications. He was posted to EDB's New York City office in the late 90s.
