Dr. Weibang Sun

Dr. Weibang Sun is a professor and executive director of Kunming Botanical Garden under Kunming Institute of Botany, the Chinese Academy of Science. His chief research interests include: 1) Conservation biology of the Chinese rare and endangered plant species; 2) Sustainable uses of economically important plant resources in Southwest China; 3) Impacts of alien invasive plant species on biodiversity in Yunnan, a province with the richest biodiversity in China. He has published aver 60 academic articles in his major research fields and 12 illustrated books.
