Dr Yi Chengxin

Chengxin received his Bachelor degree from Nanjing Agricultural University majoring in crop genetics and breeding in 1988. He got his Ph.D in crop genetics and breeding at the same university in 2002. Dr. Yi worked on cotton and rice breeding for many years in Anhui Academy of Agriculture Sciences, China, before he joined Temasek Life Sciences Laboratory in 2006. Currently, he is a post-doctor fellow and works on jatropha curcas breeding with both molecular and traditional methods.
